I graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage, Seattle in October 2010 after completing the 1000 hour training program. I passed the Washington State Board Exam and became a Licensed Massage Practitioner in November that same year. In November 2012, I completed the 24 hour massage cupping training provided by the accredited International Cupping Society. I have worked in a spa setting, a clinical setting and now work exclusively in my private practice.
My Philosophy
Massage is my passion. Long before I was a LMP, I had been receiving regular massage to help manage chronic pain and tension due to scoliosis (curvature of the spine). After experiencing the benefits of regular massage for years, I decided that I wanted to share the gift that is massage with others. I absolutely love what I do. I am constantly learning and improving my skills through continuing education courses that I believe will benefit my clients. I enjoy educating and helping people with managing and relieving chronic pain as I know how debilitating it can be. Massage doesn't have to be a once or twice a year treat. Even if you are seeking relaxation, incorporating regular massage into your health care routine will greatly enhance your overall health and well-being.
